How It Works — 3 Steps

Step 1: Text your job details

Include address, what you did, labour cost, and parts cost. Examples:

"Replaced hot water tank at 456 Kensington Rd NW Calgary, labour 900, parts 650"

"Furnace install at 142 Crowchild Trail NW, charged 3200, parts were 1100"

Step 2: Review your invoice summary

Signoff replies with address, description, labour, parts, tax, and total. If something's wrong, text CANCEL and start over.

Step 3: Text the customer's email

Signoff generates the PDF, emails it to your customer with a payment link, and logs it in your dashboard. Example: "john@customer.com"

Tip: Use plain English — Signoff's AI understands natural language. Include the street address so it appears on the invoice.

SMS Commands

Quick reference for your Signoff number.

Any job details → Creates a new invoice
email@address.com → Sends the invoice to that email
cancel → Cancels your pending invoice
reset / nevermind / start over → Same as cancel
stop → Opt out of all Signoff messages

Your Dashboard

Log in at gosignoff.ca/dashboard to view all invoices and payment status, track revenue with charts and filters, search and export to CSV, manage your team and customer directory, and mark invoices as paid or unpaid.

Tips for Best Results

Be specific about the work — "Replaced 40-gallon hot water tank" is better than "job done"
Always include the address — it goes on the invoice and helps you track jobs
Round numbers are fine — "labour 900" works just as well as "labour $900.00"
If you make a mistake, text CANCEL and start over — no penalty
You can text from any phone — iPhone, Android, even a flip phone
